DOT Apply is a free online driver employment application for US trucking carriers. A carrier sets it up in a few minutes: find the company by its USDOT or MC number, confirm control with a code sent to the phone number FMCSA has on file, add a logo, and get a link. That one link works everywhere a carrier recruits: its website, job boards, Facebook groups, a text message, a QR code in the truck. The page can also be embedded on the carrier's own site. Drivers fill in the application on a phone. The CDL barcode fills in the license fields, and the medical card goes in as a photo. Before submitting, the driver signs the FCRA disclosure, the FCRA authorization, and the FMCSA PSP authorization. Each one is signed separately and stamped with IP, time, and a document hash, so the consent is on file before anyone orders an MVR or a PSP report. Each applicant shows up in the carrier's cabinet with a status, the signed PDF, and read-outs: what the CDL barcode says, gaps in the employment timeline, a §391.23 previous-employer call list, and whether the data is clean enough to order an MVR without it bouncing. DOT Apply does not pull MVR, PSP, or Clearinghouse records and does not run background checks. Those stay on the carrier's own accounts.

Drivers apply to several carriers at once, and the first carrier to call gets the driver. Emma is an AI voice recruiter built for trucking companies, and calling back fast is her job. Within two minutes of an application, Emma calls the driver under your company name, 8 am to 9 pm in the driver's time zone, evenings and weekends included. Follow-up is built in, so no applicant gets forgotten: if the driver doesn't pick up, she calls again on day 3 and keeps following up for five weeks. Emma works the way a trucking recruiter works and talks the way drivers talk. She tells the driver she is an AI, then goes through your screening: CDL class, years of experience, OTR, regional or local, company driver, owner-operator or lease-purchase, pay per mile or percent of gross. Every answer is checked against your hiring rules. She answers only from what you told her, and anything else goes to you. When the driver fits, Emma walks them through a DOT application with the FCRA and PSP consent signed. Every call is recorded, and a short summary lands on the driver's card, so your recruiter talks to drivers who already signed. Emma speaks English, Spanish and Russian. She doesn't hire anyone: your recruiter reads the summary and makes the decision.
