PayAppCheck checks construction pay applications and tells you which numbers do not tie.
Dozens of tools help subcontractors create and submit AIA-style pay applications. Almost nothing serves the general contractor, owner, lender or construction bookkeeper on the receiving end, who opens a stack of inbound G702/G703 packets every month and has to verify each one by hand before money moves.
PayAppCheck reads a pay application in native PDF, Excel (.xlsx), or a custom G702-style layout, extracts every figure, and runs a deterministic reconciliation engine over the result. The G703 to G702 arithmetic is fully determined, so the math is not just output, it is the verification mechanism: it catches transcription and extraction errors and localizes them to a specific cell.
Checks include:
- Sum of Column G must equal G702 Line 4
- Column G must equal D plus E plus F on every line
- Line items must sum to the printed grand totals
- Completed and stored to date on a line cannot exceed that
