ParcelOps is a cloud-based freight and courier management platform used by courier companies operating in South Africa. It combines waybill management, collections and dispatch, driver tracking, route optimisation, invoicing and a customer booking portal in a single multi-tenant web application. Core functionality includes waybill capture with barcode scanning and signed, photographed proof of delivery; a dispatch console for assigning drivers, planning trips and printing trip sheets; real-time GPS tracking of drivers and vehicles; multi-stop route optimisation across the South African road network; rate card and tariff management including fuel surcharges; automated period-end invoicing, statements and payment reconciliation; and reporting on revenue, margin, driver performance, transit times and delivery exceptions. Each customer operates in an isolated, white-labelled workspace on its own subdomain, which their clients use to book shipments, track deliveries and download invoices. Office staff work in a web browser and drivers use a progressive web application on any smartphone, with no installation required. A documented REST API with scoped API keys and signed outbound webhooks is available for shipment and invoice events. The platform is billed on the number of waybills processed each month and includes unlimited user and driver accounts. Data is hosted in South Africa and the product is built for POPIA compliance.
