PaperOffice AI is the European alternative to AWS Textract, Google Document AI, Azure AI Document Intelligence, DocuSign and co. It is a complete document operations platform: intelligent document processing (IDP), OCR, document understanding, knowledge graph, workflows, e-signatures, audit-proof archiving and a headless DMS – in one platform instead of a patchwork of point solutions. Built for AI agents: more than 300 API and MCP tools let agents search, read, extract, file and process documents directly. PaperOffice is listed in the Claude connectors directory as "Verified by Anthropic" and is available as an app in ChatGPT. Your documents stay in Europe. They are processed on our own hardware in our own data center in Spain – no US cloud and no external AI providers in the document backend. Data in, data out: apart from the processing you request, nothing happens to your documents. If you prefer, keep the files on your own storage with Bring Your Own Storage (BYOS) instead of the cloud.
