The customer service and onboarding were very helpful, especially for a web form novice such as myself. The tools are vey easy to use and provide an excellent way to create excel applications and distribute them via a cloud medium.

Before selecting SpreadsheetWeb I evaluated many competitive products. I found SpreadsheetWeb to be optimal for my needs. The platform is robust and reliable, and it supports almost all of the Excel functions I use regularly. The UI is very flexible but, of course, has a learning curve to overcome (see below). However, technical support is very responsive and extremely helpful. I also appreciate the many examples and templates they have to offer. In many cases, I was able to overcome difficulties by loading and running the examples to learn how to achieve the functionality I needed.

I have previously developed a full blown SaaS solution which I sold to a major international consulting firm. But it was a proven solution and I was willing to invest heavily. The Athena project has never been field tested. Its Excel prototype is well designed. But it can't serve the purpose of field testing well. SpreadsheetWeb allowed me to put up a commercial grade web application for testing purposes at an extremely reasonable cost.
