It helps on calculation, it's very easy to use and it gives suites routes between 2 points. The site is very fast so you don't have to wait until it's loaded.

Realistic Map

I like that is not like typical map application, it is kind of unique since it has map features that not always given in any map application. In addition to have a simplified Mapkey that shows all the needed information to understand the map

What is OpenStreetMap?

OpenStreetMap (OSM) is a collaborative project that creates a free editable map of the world, built through the contributions of volunteers using localized data. It provides a versatile map platform that allows users to view, edit, and use geographical data in a collaborative way from anywhere on Earth. OpenStreetMap's model is similar to Wikipedia for maps, emphasizing openness and global participation. The data from OSM can be used in various ways including but not limited to, academic research, commercial applications, and humanitarian outreach. The maps are regularly updated and can be detailed to show not only streets but also hiking trails, cycling paths, and other points of interest. Visitors can access and edit data freely; the interface is user-friendly, aiming to facilitate community contributions. Learn more about OpenStreetMap by visiting https://www.openstreetmap.org.
