Olia is practice management software for French law firms. It brings matter tracking, time entry, billing and practice analytics into a single application. Every matter carries its client, category, billing mode, documents and team: one lead and any number of contributors. Time is recorded task by task, at a rate specific to each fee earner, and flows straight into an invoice. Entries logged by an associate go through review: the matter lead accepts, rejects, or asks for changes. Billing covers invoices, quotes, retainer invoices and credit notes, with gap-free numbering and the applicable VAT regimes. Electronic invoices are issued in Factur-X through Invopop, a platform accredited by the French tax authority. Fee agreements are generated from a versioned clause library, on a fixed fee or time-spent basis. The dashboard shows billed and collected revenue, unbilled work and aged receivables.
