Octopus Network, now rebranded as Omnity Network, is a multichain, interoperable Web3 infrastructure designed to facilitate the launch and operation of application-specific blockchains, known as appchains. By providing a cost-effective and flexible platform, it empowers developers to create customized blockchains tailored to their unique needs, thereby accelerating innovation within the Web3 ecosystem. Key Features and Functionality: - Security Provision: The network offers a security leasing market where appchains can rent security from OCT token holders. Validators stake OCT tokens to secure appchains and, in return, receive the appchain's native tokens as rewards. - Interoperability: Octopus Network ensures seamless interoperability with various blockchains, including NEAR, Ethereum , and any IBC-enabled blockchains. This facilitates trustless asset transfers across different networks. - Infrastructure Support: The network provides comprehensive infrastructure tools such as testnets, RPC gateways, indexers, block explorers, and wallet integrations, streamlining the development and deployment of appchains. - Community Engagement: Octopus Network fosters a supportive community that assists appchains in fundraising, recruitment, knowledge sharing, token economics design, and token listing, ensuring a collaborative environment for growth. Primary Value and User Solutions: Octopus Network addresses the high costs and technical complexities traditionally associated with launching and maintaining independent blockchains. By offering a shared security model and interoperability features, it significantly reduces the capital expenditure required to bootstrap an appchain, making blockchain technology more accessible to a broader range of developers and projects. This democratization of blockchain development enables the creation of diverse and innovative decentralized applications, contributing to the expansion and maturation of the Web3 ecosystem.

Making Web Projects Complicated

Its very inconvenient. Consumes a lot of time. The learning resources they provide are also poor, for expanding my knowledge. The teams slow response is not good.

What is Octopus Network?

Octopus Network is a decentralized multichain network, designed to support Web3 applications by enabling them to launch and operate on its platform with custom-made blockchains, known as appchains. The network offers interoperability, scalability, and cost-efficient operations for decentralized applications (dApps). It uses the NEAR protocol for security and infrastructure while leveraging a proof-of-stake model to ensure efficient and sustainable operations. Octopus Network aims to provide Web3 developers with flexible and easy-to-integrate solutions to accelerate the adoption and development of decentralized technologies.
