Kontora is accounting and invoicing software for freelancers, sole traders and small businesses in Germany. Unlike most tools, Kontora runs locally on your Windows PC: invoices, customers and receipts stay on your own computer, and you can work without an internet connection. Create quotes, invoices, credit notes and payment reminders in your own design, in German or English. Kontora creates and receives e-invoices (XRechnung and ZUGFeRD, EN 16931). Scan receipts with your phone or forward them by e-mail, match bank transactions (incl. PayPal and Stripe) to open invoices, and let booking rules do the routine work. Reports include the cash-basis P&L (EÜR), VAT return figures, EC Sales List, a tax reserve calculator, a DATEV export for your tax advisor and a GoBD export for tax audits. Free for up to 5 invoices per month; Pro costs €9.90 per month or €99 per year plus VAT.
