Nizel Co. is a black owned IT consultant firm founded by award-winning an IT service professional with decades of experience troubleshooting thousands of technical issues, managing infrastructure for billion-dollar corporations, providing clients with comprehensive solutions for their needs as well as servicing consumers with broken laptops, desktops, mobile devices, etc. On-site as well as remote services can be provided. The website also offers tech news, reviews, break downs & guides written by Nizel (Top 1% Yelp Elite/Google Local Guide with millions of views) as well as others within the industry. Our passion for helping others & developing our local communities shine through in the work we do. We offer everything from personnel management, recruiting, hardware/software sales, general consulting, hardware/software troubleshooting, data center buildouts to web development, etc. We are directly partnered with over 30 vendors & offer thousands of products/services.
At 8 years old I was fixing electronics. I fixed old CRT TVs, radios, computers, video game consoles, etc. From there I developed a passion for technology. By 10 I was teaching computer classes & designing websites. It was at that point I said to myself I would either become a computer engineer or a doctor & I stuck to that. I made a business plan back then (my first major business idea was to compete with GameStop.)
People always told me they loved working with me & would love work to for me. Now I continue to live my dream fixing computers & helping people from all walks of life with their issues with the hopes of becoming the next Microsoft except this time with a positive culture & a lot more diversity! The name Nizel Co. is inspired from old timey inventor company names from television shows like “Venture Bros.”
We seek to bridge the opportunity gap by helping more minorities get into STEM as well as helping our clients (business & consumer) with their technical issues. Usually high level engineers are poached by companies like Amazon, Google, Facebook, Yahoo, etc., but we hope to bring that level of expertise in-house in-order to service everyone. Our customers typically are distributors, educational institutions, long time friends that we’ve known throughout our time working in IT as well as your every day consumer looking for the best deals possible. Whatever technical question you have we hope to have the ability to answer from web development to server implementation, network security & even what computer you should get your parents for Christmas!
As a consultant for IT certification exams, Nizel Co. has the unique opportunity to manage the level of gatekeeping. We recognize that certain communities don’t grow up with the resources necessary to develop at the same rate as others if at all so we make sure that the exams reflect that in-order to give them the same opportunity to earn their place in the industry that has given so much to us. We also donate equipment as well as fix machines for underserved communities for free at times. Recently we worked with a young Mexican trans girl that came from a family that could barely afford a laptop. When the laptop she planned to use to learn to code died we worked with HP to not just extend the warranty for free, but to send her a completely new laptop of her choosing instead of just servicing the old one.
Every customer we have makes us proud & every returning customer is a victory. Our business accomplishment is just being recognized by companies like Microsoft, Google, Facebook, Lenovo, Samsung, etc. as a company worth working with. Seeing other small businesses that are our clients grow, especially if we contributed to that in a major way brings a smile to our faces every day.
