Briefmatic is a shipping tool for small sellers on Etsy and Kasuwa in Germany. It reads incoming order emails, extracts the recipient address and creates the shipping label with one click. Sellers set up an email forwarding rule once and are done. There is no Etsy API connection and no OAuth login.
The key difference to other shipping tools: Briefmatic works without a DHL business contract. DHL only offers business accounts from 200 parcels per year, which leaves most small sellers out. Briefmatic connects to a seller’s regular DHL customer account instead. Postage is paid directly to DHL at the normal rates, with no minimum volume and no reselling involved. Sellers with an existing business contract can connect that as well.
For letters and flat goods, Briefmatic uses Deutsche Post Internetmarke through the seller’s own Portokasse.
Recipient data is encrypted at rest and deleted automatically after 30 days. Labels can be downloaded again for 14 days. The service runs on servers in Germany.
Pricing: a free plan with 10 labels per month, Starter at 2.99 EUR for 50 labels, and Pro at 9.99 EUR with unlimited labels, DHL parcel shipping and a 14 day free trial.
