m0nitor checks websites, APIs, ports, DNS and cron jobs from probes in Europe, North America and Asia, and only alerts when several regions agree a service is down. IPv4 and IPv6 are checked separately on the same monitor, so a broken IPv6 path shows up as its own failure. Outages flow straight into public status pages on your own domain, incident timelines, on-call rotations and SLA reports, so the alert, the status page and the uptime report always tell the same story.
Monitor types include HTTP/HTTPS with keyword and status-code assertions, TCP, UDP, DNS, ping, SSH, SSL certificate expiry and cron/heartbeat checks, plus MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis and IP blacklist (DNSBL) monitoring on higher plans. Alerts are routed through a visual workflow builder to email, SMS, Slack, Discord, Microsoft Teams, Mattermost, Telegram, Pushover, PagerDuty, ilert and webhooks. SLOs with error budgets and burn-rate alerts, a REST API and an MCP server for AI agents round it off.
m0nitor is built by NETARO UG (haftungsbeschränkt) in Germany. Customer data is hosted in German data centres, and there is a free-forever plan.
