VigieApp is Neovigie's lone worker safety app. Installed on an Android or iOS smartphone, it replaces a dedicated alarm device: SOS button, automatic detection of falls, immobility and loss of verticality, GPS location when an alert is raised, and delivery of the alarm to supervisors or to a 24/7 monitoring centre. Fall detection relies on an AI algorithm with three sensitivity levels, trained to tell a real fall from a work movement and to limit false alarms. Eight alarm types are covered: SOS, fall, immobility, impact, lost connection, geofencing in and out, Lifeline timer and low battery. Deployment takes one click with Click&Protect: the administrator sends an activation link by SMS or email, the worker taps it, installs the app and the phone is operational with no account or password to create. The fleet is managed remotely from the VigieControl platform, compatible with SSO and MDM. When an alarm is raised, VigieControl notifies supervisors by voice call, SMS, email and push notification, with the position on a map, an in-app call to check on the worker and escalation if nobody answers. Optional 24/7 monitoring is provided by a Securitas alarm receiving centre. The Lifeline timer is registered on the server as soon as it starts: the alarm is raised even if the phone is offline or out of battery. The worker's position is hidden by default and only shared during an alarm. Data is hosted on Microsoft Azure in the European Union.
