Neo-Capital is double-entry accounting software for small businesses, freelancers and accounting firms. It comes in two versions with the same features. Neo-Capital Desktop is a one-time purchase for Windows and Mac: books are saved on your own computer, it works without an internet connection and needs no account. Neo-Capital Online runs in a web browser as a monthly or annual subscription, with bank feeds, the mobile app and other users included. Each version comes in three editions. Basic covers bookkeeping for one business: invoices with online card payment, bills, receipts, mileage, bank reconciliation, a deduction finder, quarterly tax estimates and the main financial reports. Pro adds full accrual accounting with a chart of accounts, registers, general ledger, trial balance and period close, plus sales and purchase orders, inventory, classes, job costing, time tracking, sales-tax nexus tracking and an audit trail. Firm is for accounting firms, with one licence covering every client business and a read-only dashboard for each client. Books can be imported from QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online. Desktop starts at $49 one time and Online at $19 a month, with a 14-day free trial.
