I used myGiide both during a study abroad program with undergrad students and also with executives in an MBA class focused on Global Leadership. It is a great tool for individuals to reflect on and gain insight about their cultural agility, see how their cultural values comapre to others, and is super helpful in facilitating in-depth discussions around cultural understanding and misunderstandings. I really like the gamified way in which the tool tailors suggestions for improving competencies related to cultural agility. Also the Collaboration Tool provides a very good snaphot for how the values are diferent/simiar in a group. Overall, leading to increased self-awareness and insights on how to navigate any cross-cultural/multicultural context.

I have used myGiide for a number of years in teahcing cross cultual management. In a culturally diverse group, myGiide provides an invaluable means of allowing students to compare their cultural values to the norms of their home country or other countries. This provides an excellent platform for in class discussions and also as basis to inform assessment. It also allows students to evaluate their cultural agility and provides feedback on areas in which they can improve.
