My Job Goblin is job management software for UK sole traders in the trades: electricians, plumbers, handymen and gas engineers working for themselves rather than running a team. It covers quoting, deposits, scheduling, invoicing and chasing late payments, with CIS deductions, the VAT domestic reverse charge and Making Tax Digital record keeping built in. Beyond the paperwork it works out what a day of your time actually earned: quote-win rate, margin per job, revenue per working day and time to payment, each held back until there is enough history behind it. It is deliberately not built for teams, with no dispatch board, shared diary or engineer tracking, and it is not an accounting ledger, so it sits alongside your accounts software rather than replacing it.
