MSPortal gives us one place to see how our clients are really doing, instead of stitching together reports from HaloPSA, our RMM and a pile of spreadsheets. The ticket trend reporting is a standout. In a few minutes I can see which issue categories are growing, which ones eat the most labour because of long resolution times, and which clients are drifting into risk territory. The watchlist that flags accounts by rising volume or slowing resolution has been more useful to us than raw ticket counts. I also like how cleanly it separates Standards from Compliance. Standards gives us a deployment matrix of our tool stack across every client (required bundle items, upsells, and "one of" groups like Apple vs. Windows MDM), and that rolls straight into the client health score. Compliance handles the recurring configuration checks like MFA on admin accounts, on a set cadence. Having both mapped to our actual service bundle makes QBRs and onboarding verification much easier to run consistently. Finally, the MCP connector is a real differentiator. I can query MSPortal through Claude alongside our other systems and get answers in plain English, which has changed how quickly I can get from a question to a decision.
