Monsoon was founded in 2016 by Caleb Monroe and Travis Gibson out of the back of Caleb’s house after weeks of prayer. What started as board game nights with their wives and late night conversations gave way to a leap of faith. Leaving their jobs and coming together as business partners, Caleb and Travis set out to build a brand agency that didn’t follow the toxic trends that they were seeing in the industry. The partners realized that they enjoyed working with underdog businesses and brands and allowing them to punch above their weight and compete. In under two years, Monsoon had taken a small West Texas beard oil brand and propelled them into GQ magazine. The rest is simple. Monsoon brought on more clients, took extraordinarily good care of them, and the agency continued to grow. In 2019, Monsoon moved into its office off of 66th & Indiana Ave. From there, they gained Travis Swearengen as a partner to expand on the agency’s marketing capabilities. Two years, countless designs, and lots of caffeine later, Monsoon continues to thrive and push their clients to new heights.
