Merlean is the universal execution layer for web applications. People describe an outcome in plain language and Merlean carries it out inside the software they already use. Most AI agents automate the interface. They click buttons, read screens and break the moment a layout changes. Merlean works a level below that. It connects to your repository, analyses your own source code, and builds a machine-readable model of the application's APIs, routes, forms, validation rules, permissions and workflows. When a user asks for something, Merlean plans the steps against that model and executes them through the same HTTP interface your frontend already uses, as the signed-in user and with that user's permissions. There is no SDK to wire in, no per-framework adapter and no integration code in your controllers. Merlean learns an application from its source, so it works with Laravel, React, Next.js, Django, Rails, Vue, Node.js, WordPress or something built in-house. Three ways in: An embedded chat widget, added with a single script tag Slack, so the work starts where the conversation already is An MCP server for your product, so Claude, ChatGPT and other AI assistants can act in it What that changes: people stop hunting through menus, onboarding stops being a course in where the buttons live, and the support tickets that were really navigation questions stop arriving. Organisations invest heavily in software their teams use only a fraction of. Merlean closes the gap between what an application can do and what people can actually get done with it. Run it on our cloud, or self-hosted inside your own infrastructure, where your data and your model credentials never leave your network. Merlean (merlean.ai) is a software company building an execution layer for web applications. It is unrelated to theorem-proving or Lean 4 projects with similar names.
