MedCounter is billing and stock software for Indian medical stores, built for the mid-range Android phone a shop already owns. No computer, no server, no week of training. What it does at the counter: · Search a catalogue of over 2.5 lakh Indian medicines, or scan the pack · Batch-wise stock with expiry, and every sale deducted from the batch expiring first · GST bills sent to the customer on WhatsApp · Photograph a distributor's bill and the app reads the medicines, batches and rates off it · Schedule H1, Schedule X and NDPS registers filled as you bill, not the night before an inspection · Khaata for customers and distributors, on the same screen as the day's sales · Same shop on a laptop at app.medcounter.in, in English, Hindi or Marathi It has been built alongside chemists in tier-2 and tier-3 cities, and it still changes based on what shop owners tell us.
