Mechmate is an all-in-one shop management software built for auto repair shops, truck and heavy equipment maintenance businesses, and fleet operators. It covers the full workflow from work order creation to invoicing, with integrated customer management, equipment tracking, time logging, and online appointment booking. Work orders can be created in a few clicks with built-in VIN decoding, voice dictation, and a product/service catalog. Completed work orders convert directly into invoices with no double entry, and customers can pay online through a secure payment link. Tax calculations, batch invoicing, and contractual rates are handled automatically. Equipment management supports multiple types — vehicles, heavy trucks, trailers, machinery, generators — with dynamic fields for mileage, engine hours, and serial numbers. Each piece of equipment has a full timeline of work orders, invoices, and metric history. An embeddable booking widget lets customers schedule appointments directly from any website, with automatic recognition of returning customers and maintenance reminders that increase revenue per visit. Mechmate is available as a web application (PWA), a desktop app for macOS and Windows, and a mobile app. Data syncs across all platforms. It was developed in direct collaboration with shop owners in Quebec to fit the realities of daily shop operations without unnecessary complexity.
