Mechanica is automated estimating software for independent auto repair shops. When a technician finishes a digital inspection, Mechanica reads the findings and writes the full priced estimate on the repair order: every job the findings call for, labor from published book time for the exact year, make and engine, parts quoted from the shop's own suppliers at the prices the shop pays, and the shop's own canned jobs, labor rate and markups. Every line shows where its number came from, so an advisor can answer a customer's why. The service advisor reviews the draft, changes what they want, and sends it. Nothing reaches a customer without a human approving it.
