Mattering Productivity is a project management application for organizing and tracking team work.
Work is structured into spaces, which contain folders, which contain projects. Each project is a canvas made up of widgets, and a project can have multiple canvas tabs to present different views of the same work.
Fourteen widget types can be added to a project canvas: tasks, project habits, to-do lists, a knowledge base, documents, files, screen recordings, a video gallery, a whiteboard, a timetable, images, embedded web pages, action buttons, and connectors. The connector widget displays live data from third-party services including Notion, GitHub and Airtable.
The tasks widget supports list, kanban and gantt views, with subtasks, assignees, statuses, tags and task templates.
The free plan covers up to 5 members, one space, three projects, unlimited tasks and documents, three active goals, five recordings and 500 MB of storage. The Pro plan is $12 per seat per month and removes those limits, adding recurring tasks, custom fields, custom statuses, multi-project dashboards, teams, 100 GB of storage, 90 day version history and an audit log.
Productivity provides a public API, webhooks and an MCP server. The MCP server allows AI clients such as Claude to create tasks, update statuses, write documents and read project context.
The application runs on the Mattering platform and shares one login and one organization member directory with other Mattering apps. Automation workflows can be triggered by events in Productivity without configuring API credentials. Paid plans include Matter AI credits and automation runs for each seat, and include access to the platform's Bonus apps.
