Sunny by Mass AI is Mass AI's AI employee for residential solar deal review. It helps solar installers and EPCs check sold deals against their requirements, follow up with the rep for missing information, and prepare a package for the operations team to approve. A deal can be sold without its file being ready for the next team. A required photo may be missing, a finance document may be unsigned, or details may conflict across documents. Sunny checks the submitted deal against the company's requirements and helps the rep work through those gaps. Deal review takes under 5 minutes per deal. Every company starts with the same minimum intake list. It includes photos of every roof plane, the main service panel with its door open, and the exterior meter; clear attic photos showing roof measurements; a utility bill in the homeowner's name; photos covering all twelve months of electricity usage; a homeowners insurance photo whose limited liability is more than $100,000; a signed contract; and signed finance documents unless a source document confirms a cash deal. Homeowner, property, system and financial details match across relevant evidence. Insurance-name matching is an EPC setting, off until enabled for selected states. The company's additional rules sit on top of that minimum list rather than removing items from it. Sunny looks in connected systems first, then asks the rep for the one thing it needs. It explains what is missing, why it matters and what to send. A replacement file does not count as complete until Sunny has checked it. When documents conflict or a decision is above Sunny's authority, it stops and brings the question to operations with the evidence side by side. Reps do not need a separate product login. They text Sunny from iMessage or SMS, while operations works in the project view. Each rep at a company has a computer, a conversation with Sunny and private notes on that computer. Another rep does not share that computer, conversation or those notes. Operations can see the shared project. People approve the actions that need their judgment. Before any homeowner text, the rep approves the exact recipient, message, purpose and project. If any of those details changes, a fresh approval is needed. The operations team separately approves the exact handoff package before it goes out. After that approval, Sunny sends the package and independently verifies that it arrived.
