MakeTheForm is the form backend for developers and agencies. Instead of writing an API route, running a database and wiring up email for every contact form, you point the form at one MakeTheForm endpoint. It works with plain HTML, any JavaScript framework (React, Next.js, Astro, Vue), site builders like Webflow and Framer, and pages generated by AI website builders.
Every submission is stored first and delivered second, so nothing is lost if a destination is down. Submissions land in a searchable, exportable inbox and are delivered by email, to Slack, to signed webhooks, or to tools like Discord, Notion, Airtable, HubSpot, Mailchimp and GitHub. Failed deliveries are retried automatically.
Spam is blocked with layered filtering (honeypots, content scoring, allowed domains and rate limits) without making real visitors solve a CAPTCHA. Forms accept URL-encoded, multipart and JSON data, including file uploads, and a server-side API with idempotency keys means a retried request never stores a submission twice.
Agencies get a project per client, client-only access to their own submissions, and a one-click handover that moves a project to the client's workspace without changing their form endpoint. There is a free plan, and paid plans start at $12 a month.
