MailValid is an email verification tool that checks whether an email address can receive mail before you send to it. Each address goes through a syntax check, a domain and MX record lookup, and an SMTP mailbox check, without sending a message. Results come back as valid, invalid, catch-all, do-not-mail or unknown, with flags for disposable, role-based and free-provider addresses. MailValid can be used in four ways: - Single verification in the web app - Bulk CSV or TXT upload, up to 10,000 emails per job, with results exported as CSV or JSON - A REST API for real-time checks, such as at signup, with code examples in Python, Node.js, Ruby, PHP, Go and Java - An MCP server that lets AI agents such as Claude and Cursor verify emails as a tool call Common uses include email list cleaning, cold email and recruiting outreach, CRM data hygiene and SaaS signup verification. Pricing is credit-based. One credit is used per verification that returns a final result, and unknown results are not charged. Credits do not expire. Plans include a Free tier with 100 credits, one-time pay-as-you-go packs, MailValid Plus monthly subscriptions and Enterprise.
