echnung3000 is a web-based tool for electronic invoices under Germany's B2B e-invoicing mandate (in force since January 1, 2025). It runs in the browser without installation; processing takes place in German data centers. PDF to e-invoice: Upload a PDF invoice, scan or photo (JPG, PNG, HEIF). The tool extracts invoice number, date, line items, amounts, addresses, IBAN/BIC and VAT ID. Before anything is generated, you review and correct the recognized data in a mandatory review step. Missing mandatory fields are listed with their BT number. The result is a PDF/A-3 file with embedded CII XML (ZUGFeRD, profile XRechnung 3.0), or the XML alone. Create from scratch: Full invoice editor with live preview, any number of line items, allowances and charges, and a mode for small businesses under § 19 UStG (no VAT). Validate and view (free, no account): Check ZUGFeRD, Factur-X and XRechnung files (PDF or CII XML) against the XSD schema and EN 16931 / BR-DE Schematron rules, with each error explained in German. A viewer shows the content of an e-invoice as a readable document. UBL syntax is not supported. Pricing: Free account with up to 3 invoices per month; paid plans at €29/month (100 invoices) and €99/month (1,000 invoices). Without an account, a single invoice can be unlocked for €1.99. Validation and viewing are always free. The interface is in German.
