Great but time consuming

I love the user interface for our clients taking the survey, it's very modern and sleek. I also love the options we are given as the backend admins to create surveys, and questions to use to make the survey.

The ability to customize practically anything within the survey is what separates Limesurvey from some of the other survey softwares out there (Google, SurveyMonkey, etc.). It does take quite a long time to learn many of the features of Limesurvey (there are A LOT). But once you do, it's a fantastic tool. It is an open-source software. So it's free, but that means you also don't get a support team. HOWEVER, there are forums, bug reports, and a whole LimeSurvey community that is mostly very willing and able to help.

Excellent and Versatile Survey Software

|LimeSurvey
LimeSurvey allows you to build both simple and complicated surveys and forms. Although it is primarily for surveys, I've found it can also be used in place of online quiz-taking software for pairing with in-house training materials. LimeSurvey produces attractive surveys through a polished administration interface.
