In the defense industry, engineering teams deal with some of the most complex products in the world- large assemblies, thousands of CAD files, and decades of design documents. The real challenge is navigating the massive amount of organizational knowledge stored across PLM, CAD models, Excel docs, PDF and Word files, technical reports, and presentations. This is where Leo changes the game. It’s the first AI I’ve seen that can actually search and answer questions across both CAD files and text-based engineering documents. I tried to use GPT to analyze cad and it failed, because it’s a language model. Leo, on the other hand was built to understand CAD and engineering data. Instead of digging through endless folders or relying on senior engineers to recall where a decision was made years ago, teams get instant, accurate answers tied back to real models, drawings, and approved documentation.
