It compares source and target datasets field by field, flags drift, and hands back a mismatch report instead of leaving someone to eyeball two spreadsheets side by side. The same platform covers migration mapping between source and target schemas, deterministic data masking for PII and compliance work, record- and table-level validation with on-the-fly correction, and synthetic data generation for teams that don't have production data to test against. It's built for the people who actually do this work day to day: ETL testers, DBAs, developers, functional QA, and API testers. DQV connects to SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, AWS, Azure, GCP, flat files (CSV, fixed-length, Excel), JSON, XML, REST APIs, and message queues, and plugs into Informatica, Databricks, and CI/CD pipelines, or runs standalone as a library or CLI tool.
