Komweer is a digital loyalty card for small businesses such as cafés, salons, barbers, bakeries and car washes. It replaces the paper stamp card with one that can't be lost or copied.
A tablet or phone at your counter shows a QR code. Customers scan it with their phone camera and the card opens in their browser: there's no app to download. They confirm their email once, and every visit after that is a single scan. You set the reward, such as "buy 9, get the 10th free", along with daily limits, waiting times, reward expiry and a welcome bonus.
Each code works once and changes every 25 seconds, so photos and screenshots don't work. Staff sign in at the counter with their own 4-digit PIN, and every stamp and reward is logged with the staff member, device and time. Rewards can still be handed over when the internet drops and are confirmed when the connection returns.
You get a client list you own: names, contact details, visits, tags and notes, which you can download as a spreadsheet at any time. Marketing opt-ins are separate and unticked, and customers can download or delete their data, in line with South Africa's POPIA.
Komweer runs in any modern browser on a phone, tablet or computer, works with cash and any card machine, and is free to start.
