Klar Barrierefrei

Klar Barrierefrei is an online WCAG 2.1/2.2 AA accessibility checker for websites and online shops that must meet the German Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG) and the European Accessibility Act. A free single-page check runs axe-core in a real browser and lists every violation in plain German or English. The paid full-site report crawls the whole website, scores it, and delivers a dated PDF report that can serve as evidence; monthly monitoring rescans the site and shows new and fixed issues. Klar is honest about coverage: automated tests find only about 30-57% of WCAG issues, so it flags what still needs a manual review and never claims 100% compliance. No overlay, no plugin to install. Built for small businesses, agencies and shop owners using Shopify, WooCommerce, Shopware, WordPress or Wix.
