Klap is a service that uses AI to transform long videos into viral shorts suitable for platforms like TikTok, Reels, and Shorts. Users can simply paste a YouTube link or upload a file to generate these condensed videos. The platform boasts features like AI editing, which extracts the best topics from the video and edits them into short clips; auto reframing, where videos are adjusted to focus on the most important parts, such as faces; dynamic caption generation; and customization options for frames, fonts, and colors to match one's brand. Pricing for Klap starts at $29/month, allowing users to upload 10 videos of up to 45 minutes each and generate 100 clips in HD, while the Pro plan at $79/month permits uploading 30 videos of up to 2 hours each, creating 300 clips in 4K resolution.
Having used the platform for social media marketing, this reviewer finds it easy to use and appreciates the scheduling feature. The pricing, however, feels high as it is based on the number of monthly uploads.
