KI-Shield is a privacy-compliant proxy for large language models. It sits between employees and external AI providers like OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google. Before any request leaves the company network, the system automatically detects personally identifiable information using 43 specialized recognition methods covering German-specific formats such as IBAN, tax ID, health insurance number, and vehicle registration plates. Detected PII is replaced with pseudonyms before the request is forwarded. AI responses are also scanned for newly generated personal data before reaching the user. Every transaction is logged in a tamper-proof audit chain with hybrid dual signatures using Ed25519 and post-quantum ML-DSA-65, hash-chained via SHA-256, and anchored daily on the Polygon blockchain. A Zero-Knowledge architecture ensures that even the system operator cannot read the encrypted audit contents. Patent applications filed with the German Patent and Trademark Office. Built and operated in Germany.
