The biggest win for us has been how much it cuts down on scheduled meetings and making our remote culture better. Instead of booking a call for every small question, we can just go into someone's room and talk to them instantly.

We run a fully distributed company, with part of the team in the US, Philippines, and Finland. Katmai has basically become our office. What really changed how we work is the sense of presence: I can see who’s at their desk, walk over, ask a 30-second question, and get right back to what I was doing. Before, that same question would turn into a Slack message that got answered 40 minutes later, or a calendar invite for a 15-minute Zoom. The other big win for us is that it runs in the browser. Nobody on my team had to install anything, which matters a lot when you’re onboarding VAs on machines you don’t control. And the video feels like actual video of the person, not a cartoon avatar so it doesn’t feel like a game. It feels like a real office just virtually.

It is a really good application for conducting online meets and also provides various features for smooth user experience.
