KanzleiOS Abschlussplaner is planning software for German tax advisory firms that currently plan year-end financial statements, tax returns and staff capacity in spreadsheets. For every employee and month it shows available hours, upcoming engagements, filing deadlines and where delays or overload are likely. It was developed in day-to-day use at a Hamburg tax firm that has planned with it since August 2026.
During filing season, firms often know only roughly who on the team still has capacity. Bottlenecks surface when deadlines are already close. The planner makes workload visible months ahead and suggests how to distribute engagements so that deadlines are met.

- Overview: open and overdue engagements, unassigned hours, planned fees and estimated late-filing surcharge risk on one page
- Workload per employee and month: contracted hours minus holidays, public holidays and ongoing bookkeeping/payroll, compared with planned hours
- Monthly plan: engagements sorted by deadline, with effort, cost and fee, editable inline
- Deadlines: statutory filing deadlines per engagement, shifted to working days
- Gentle rescheduling: redistribution proposal with a reason for each line, approved or rejected line by line; pinned engagements stay untouched
- Effort estimation from each client's actual hours in previous years or standard values per engagement type
- Import of DATEV exports and existing planning spreadsheets with preview; manual entries always take precedence
- Guided setup, AI assistant with client names and fees removed before any AI request, team and holiday planning, free read-only access for employees, monthly brief and PDF printing
