JobGate puts one QR code on the site door. Operatives scan it with their phone camera, read and sign the RAMS, COSHH sheets and site rules for that job before they are cleared to work, and scan out at the end of the day. Subcontractors and visitors use the same sign. There is no app to install and it works in 23 languages.
Location is read once, at the moment of the scan, and nothing tracks anyone in between. The system flags problems to the office rather than blocking anyone at the gate. Records are add-only: nothing can be edited or deleted, corrections go on a new line, and every week the office receives a sealed, tamper-evident PDF of every signature that anyone can check at jobgate.uk/verify.
The office gets a live site register and fire roll call, timesheets built from the actual scans, pay rules, and payroll files for Sage, Xero, BrightPay, QuickBooks, IRIS, Moneysoft and CIS. Also included: permits to work, plant pre-use checks, toolbox talks, the accident book with RIDDOR, inspections and custom checklists, cards and training records, PPE issue records, holidays, subcontractor document requests and insurance checks, and a free document account for subcontractors.
