PDFluent SDK is a PDF library written in Rust, comprising 48 crates with no C or C++ dependencies. It offers native bindings for Rust, Python, Node.js, .NET, Java, and WebAssembly. The SDK is licensed via a one-time perpetual payment. The Lite edition starts from EUR 699, with Plus at EUR 1,099, Professional at EUR 2,199, Unlimited at EUR 4,399, and Enterprise from EUR 12,000. The first year of updates is included. It runs fully offline with no server calls or per-document fees. The library operates without a licence key, enabling all features but adding a Producer watermark to output. A 30-day evaluation licence to remove the watermark is available without a credit card. The engine has been tested against 50,000 real-world PDFs with zero crashes. In rendering tests against 5,000 PDFs, 94% achieved an SSIM of 0.95 or better when compared to mutool. Capabilities include parsing, rendering, text and image extraction, text editing, merging, splitting, forms support including XFA, annotations, digital signatures (PAdES, CMS, PKCS#12, timestamping), redaction, compression, encryption and permissions, PDF/A conversion and validation, PDF/UA, and conversion to Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. A separate free desktop editor for macOS and Windows is built on the same engine.
