Formata is a metadata-driven CRM/ERP platform: forms, fields, business logic and processes live as data in the database, so you build and change business applications in a visual designer instead of writing and redeploying code.
The form designer lets you drag controls onto a canvas, bind them to data, set lookups, validation and per-field access rules; processes are modelled in a built-in BPM engine. Changes are versioned and go live in minutes. Out of the box it ships CRM (clients, deals, pipeline, tasks, analytics), warehouse, online store, budgets and a beauty-salon edition, all of which you can reshape to your processes.
Under the hood: a high-performance core written in C++ on PostgreSQL, with flexible extensions in Python for your own logic and integrations. The native core needs far less CPU and memory than typical Java, .NET or PHP business platforms, so the same server serves more users and hardware and hosting costs drop dramatically. Bulk loads run at around 50,000 rows per second.
