It all began with a layoff. Like many people, Hustle Marketing LLC Founder and CEO, Sam Roberts was laid off due to COVID-19. She always had an entrepreneurial spirit, and the layoff turned out to be a blessing. It finally gave her the push to start her own company. Sam is a former college softball player who turned her competitive nature into an obsession with providing growth tactics to help companies via digital marketing and communications. You know your company needs social media, a killer website, and top-notch digital marketing to compete with anyone in this day and age. Providing strategy, eye-catching graphics and videos, and working with website layouts to give a great user experience are her specialties. She combs through analytics to see how to grow and adjust the strategy to produce results, just as meticulously and critically, as she practiced her softball hitting and fielding mechanics. She looks young, but don't let that fool you. Her hard work, determination and teamwork have led to many opportunities. She has had the chance to speak on various panels and is a member of the George Washington University Digital Marketing Advisory Council. She was also part of the winning team that brought home Ragan's Content Marketing Awards – User Generated Content award for Yazaki. In her most recent "real job" position, she was Head of Global Social Media for a large corporation of 10,000+ employees in 32 countries.
