Hotelwright is banquet operations software for hotels and event venues. It takes the week's event orders and turns them into the paperwork and the schedule banquet teams otherwise build by hand.
Upload the week's event order PDFs, import your booking system's spreadsheet export, or add events manually. Hotelwright reads each PDF page into fields and shows every field beside its source page. You edit in place and confirm. Nothing counts until you do.
From the confirmed week it produces:
- The Daily Event Sheet (renameable to whatever your hotel calls it)
- Print packets with the right number of copies per event
- Buffet labels and station cards with dietary codes and a "Contains" allergen line
- A staffing plan built from your own ratios and guidelines
- The staff schedule, in English or Spanish
- A line-up card for each event, with crew, timeline and tasks
Staffing suggestions follow your rules and your numbers always win. Each open shift shows a suggested order of who to ask, with plain reasons such as employment type, seniority and hours this week. One tap assigns. Schedule checks flag hours, breaks, short shifts and overtime using your state's numbers or your own. They flag, they never block.
Mid-week change is the point. When a guarantee, time or room changes, only the affected outputs are marked Stale. Old printouts are kept and timestamped. A change notice or a person's edit is never overwritten by a later upload. If sources disagree, you pick, with every value shown with who set it and when. Restore points are taken before each upload.
Publish the schedule and staff and captains see it on their phones through the browser, in their own language. Staff confirm or decline, set availability and report call-outs. Open shifts can be released in stages: regular staff first, then your on-call tiers. Captains see the whole week and manage the events they are named on.
Hotelwright is bilingual, English and Spanish, on every plan. Allergen names, dietary codes and legend text come from a fixed dictionary and are never machine-translated. A Contains line prints only after someone confirms the allergens.
