HireLayer is a set of recruiting APIs for ATS vendors, job boards and HR software teams. It parses resumes (PDF, Word, scans and images) into structured JSON, extracts the criteria from a job description, normalizes skills, and matches and ranks candidates against a job with an explanation for each criterion, so recruiters can review every score. One API key covers all endpoints, with a public OpenAPI specification, an option not to store submitted files, a demo that works without an account, and a free plan with 50 credits a month.
