Marvin is built by researchers, and you can really tell. It’s designed with researchers’ needs in mind, from the tool’s information architecture to its different functionalities. There’s a great variety of integrations. I heavily use the Google ecosystem integrations (Calendar, Drive, Docs, and CSVs), and they’ve significantly improved my working speed. I especially love the calendar integration because ResearchOps is a huge part of my work as a researcher, and managing all the different sessions and schedules I have is essential. So far, Marvin’s overall performance has been stable and consistent. Syncing interview sessions, auto-tagging, and notes generally work quickly and without mistakes. It’s also quick to add additional notes or labels. When it comes to AI and automations, the analysis features work really well, and the team keeps adding improvements. Report creation is getting better and better, and the latest assistant update has been a game changer. Creating workflow maps is very convenient, and producing better, more engaging reports for my stakeholders has accelerated my delivery times. As a result, the overall ROI of my small research team has improved a lot. We’ve even adopted a new internal policy where we share short insights from every session we facilitate as we go, and we wouldn’t be nearly as quick or efficient without access to this technology. Survey analysis and cross-project analysis have also been awesome for tracking higher-level trends and insights. The Marvin team was really kind during onboarding, and all the guidance and sessions they held helped us get up to speed with the tool. Marvin is easy to adopt, which also helps me advocate for it within my organisation. More and more of my stakeholders now use it too - to record sessions, read reports, and explore different types of insights. We’ve been using it for around 8 months, and I can safely say we've managed to meet our expectations in terms of ROI. The different pricing plans can suit different needs and for a small team to have this tool has had a great impact on our productivity and how well we are able to establish ourselves in the organisation.

HeyMarvin is an excellent resource to keep all the research organised, tagged and usable across a number of studies. I have used HeyMarvin twice in two different companies with different levels of UX maturity and it's always helped accelerate UX integration into product because it allows me to deliver valuable insights at speed, plan and execute generative research with minimal overhead and identify knowledge gaps fast and reliably. Their support team is excellent, the range of features is brilliant and they always keep increasing its functionality. The AI-assisted functions are also incredibly helpful, specially for a solo researcher or a small team needing to deliver to a whole product department.

Marvin is not only a great place to access research and insights from various teams or past studies, but can actually answer pretty complex questions you may have about your user base using AI which mines what it already knows about users from these previous studies.
