Folklore is clinical variant interpretation software for genetic laboratories and genomics teams. It brings variant annotation, ACMG/AMP classification evidence, phenotype and inheritance context, literature, prioritisation and structured reporting into one traceable workflow. Teams can work with panels, exomes and whole genomes, review evidence at variant and case level, and keep source records available for qualified professional review. Folklore accepts common variant identifiers and representations, including genomic coordinates, HGVS, SPDI and rsID. Its public read-only MCP server gives compatible AI tools access to supported single-variant evidence and literature while preserving the professional-review boundary. Folklore is designed to support qualified specialists and does not replace clinical judgment.
