OpenWorks review by a long term power user.

Many third party applications are able to connect to OpenWorks and read the data therein. OpenWorks is available on Linux and Windows. OpenWorks can handle really large data sets such 3D seismic projects over thousands of square kilometres and hundreds of thousands of wells.

Petroleum Exploration Geologist with experience in EVB.

Stratworks was a favourite of mine for correlations and generating initial structure maps. Also the lithology pie postings and wel log postings on map helped to identify trends visually with ease. Seisworks was also easy to use for seismic interpretation and generating structure maps. The introduction of power view and decision space also were very beneficial as they combine the features of stratworks and seisworks in one.

Open works is a great software for seismic data.

How well you can import and export data into other programs.
