Reveal is a remote monitoring and operational intelligence platform (IoT analytics) that collects, normalizes and analyzes data from the equipment companies already have installed, and automates action across multisite operations. It is developed by GSS Analytix and is used by operations, maintenance and facilities teams that run many sites with mixed equipment from different brands and years.
Reveal receives data from Phantom Shield, the GSS Analytix edge gateway, which connects HVAC, energy meters, generators, UPS, fuel tank consoles, CCTV recorders, access control and IoT sensors over BACnet, Modbus, OPC UA, SNMP, MQTT and HTTP/REST, without firmware changes or hardware replacement. Reveal works as a layer on top of existing BMS, SCADA and video management systems rather than replacing them.
Key capabilities:
- Cross-system correlation: signals from HVAC, power, UPS, security and other systems are analyzed together, so related events are detected as one incident.
- Anomaly detection and failure prediction: Reveal learns each device's normal operating pattern and flags drifts before they become failures.
- Automated actions: adjusts setpoints, activates backups and runs equipment on schedules, with every action logged for traceability.
- Alerts by WhatsApp, email or ticketing systems, prioritized by severity.
- Audit-ready reports and before/after comparisons to validate operational changes.
- Energy and power quality monitoring on existing meters (kWh, voltage, current, power factor and electrical events) across sites.
- Data from CCTV images where a direct device connection is not possible.
- Natural-language queries by text or voice through a compatible LLM.
Documented uses (anonymous, published on gssanalytix.com) include telecom cabinet and battery protection at 460 sites with an 85% reduction in vandalism events and USD 2.3 million saved; hospital backup power and fire supervision (17 metering points, 7 generators, 26 primary connections); free trade zone energy and fire monitoring (3 metering points, network ready for 32 warehouses); shopping-center water and substation supervision with 3 Phantom Shield L0 gateways; and fuel-station tank inventory with purchase and POS reconciliation.
