Promotion Planning use case is a part of the Analytical Data Platform which implements cases when you need pricing prediction based on accumulated data such as price and discount catalogs.
Image Recognition capability is one of the modular parts of the Analytical Data Platform which provides an implementation of item recognition and classification by the image of the item. Capability provides Jupyter notebook with executable code in AWS Sagemaker. Once code is up and running it releases the model and creates a demo endpoint.

When the product is launched, AWS CloudFormation deploys corresponding resources in your AWS account. The launch of the Base Platform prepares essential resources that are common for all use cases (such as Amazon Amazon VPC, Amazon Cloud Map, Amazon Route53, and custom Amazon Lambda functions) and an S3 bucket used to store the status of the system. Once the Base Platform is up, any chosen use case can be launched on top of it.
Streaming analytics capability is one of the modular part of Analytical Data Platform which provisions AWS EMR, AWS Kinesis, Apache Airflow if it was already provisioned by Batch Analytics - it will reuse existing infrastructure to run streaming jobs on top of EMR orchestrated by Apache Airflow.
