GrainPosition is grain marketing and inventory software for independent grain farms in Canada and the United States. It keeps every grain contract, bin, scale ticket and settlement in one place, so a farmer always knows what is sold, what is still owed in each delivery window, what is in each bin, and the weighted average price per crop, in tonnes or bushels. Its focus is checking what you were paid. Each settlement is matched to its contract and the scale tickets it pays for, and every line is marked explained or needs checking: grade against the contract, weight and dockage against the tickets, freight, and each deduction. For Canadian farms it shows the last day to ask the Canadian Grain Commission for a Final Quality Determination. Contracts, scale tickets and settlements can be read from a photo or PDF and filled in for the farmer to check, or imported from a spreadsheet. Everything exports to CSV. GrainPosition gives no marketing advice, and farm data is never sold, pooled or shared with buyers or lenders. Built independently in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Free during early access; $249 CAD a year (or $25 a month) for farms that join in early access.
