With many IoT platforms the ease and simplicity of use is diluted by adding complex and intricate features that are rarely used, but the Goliath team look to be focused directly on servicing the User.
They are stepping outside the norm by not building around an MQTT service but CoAP which could help set them apart from the pack with certain use cases.

It's tightly integrated with Zephyr RTOS which includes support for a wide variety of MCUs and sensors, making it easy to get started with new hardware. Plus, the team at Golioth is responsive and eager to provide support (including providing free Zephyr training).
