HellaGood Next is the walk-in waitlist without texts. Customers scan the shop's QR sign, wait anywhere, and get called when it's their turn.
Texting walk-ins costs too much. So we don't. Waitlist apps text every guest: a code, a welcome, "your turn". Shops pay for the plan, then for every text. Next sends no texts at all. The guest saves their place to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, and we call them when it's their turn. No number asked, nothing per message.
How it works:
1. Set up the shop and print the QR sign. Two minutes, timed.
2. Customers scan, pick a service and a person if the shop offers that, type a name, and see their place and a real wait. Then they leave and come back when it's time.
3. Staff tap Notify, then Serving, then Done. Customers rate the visit on the way out.
Three setups, switch any time: just a wait (one list, a name and they're in), services (each with its own wait, learned from the shop's real days), or services and people (customers ask for their person or take next available).
Runs the whole team: owner, managers and each person sign in on their own, mark Here, On break or Off, and call their own customers or the next walk-in. Staff add walk-ins by name at the counter. Stats show served, average wait, walk-aways and busiest hours, by person and by service, with stars and reviews for each person.
Ten languages for guests: English, Spanish, Chinese, Vietnamese, Korean, Thai, Japanese, Tagalog, German and French. The shop writes its messages once in English and guests read them in theirs. The shop's logo and color are on every guest screen.
Built for barbershops, salons, nail bars, tattoo, tire and oil change, repair shops, pet groomers, dry cleaners, counters inside stores, and bank branches and offices.
